Born in Phoenix, Arizona, and raised in Los Altos, California, Elsa Corrigan is a graduate of the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. A Tahoe local since 1985, the Truckee resident sharpened her cooking skills at San Francisco and Napa Valley eateries such as Aqua, Restaurant Lulu, Acquerello and Mustards Grill before opening Mamasake in the Village at Squaw in 2002. Look for Corrigan’s newest effort-a food truck-parked at the entrance of Squaw Valley Road.
